Winter Wildlife Nordic Ski – 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Glide through Tahoe’s winter wonderland on skis for a winter excursion in partnership with the TRTA . We will take breaks periodically to learn about Tahoe’s forest ecology and bird migration habits while identifying trees and animals that live amongst the Lodgepole Pines. Cross-country skis and experience are required, as we do not provide skis. We will travel ~3 miles on a groomed trail by Nevada Nordic . We will go as fast as the slowest member of the group and can make adjustments along the way. Our route will not have steep hills.
