Actor Eric Winter currently stars as Tim Bradford on The Rookie.
Eric surprised fans with a throwback video that showed him in a perfume commercial with Britney Spears.
Before making it big in acting, Eric modeled for various brands and campaigns in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
As one of the stars of The Rookie, Eric Winter has become known to fans for his portrayal of Tim Bradford. But before making it in Hollywood, he worked as a model. As he revealed in a throwback Instagram clip, he even appeared in the commercial for the launch of Britney Spears’ Curious fragrance back in September 2004.
“Wow … came across this and had to throw it back,” he wrote on July 9, alongside a clip of the ad. “Who remembers?! #doyoudare #curious @britneyspears and directed by the man @davemeyers!”
Understandably, fans were shocked.
“This is soooooo iconic 💙✨,” one person wrote in the comments. “Yasssssss I’m old enough to actually remember this on TV 😂 can’t believe it was you 🔥,” another reminisced. “The throwback we didn’t know we needed today. Iconic behavior,” a different follower added.
At the time Eric appeared in the commercial, he was portraying Rex Brady on the daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives. He also modeled for several national campaigns, including one for Tommy Hilfiger.
While the actor has since appeared on The Rookie, Wildfire, and other projects, he’s never forgotten where he came from.
“Ok I jumped on this trend and now I feel old … #90s #throwback #bradford 😂,” he wrote in a separate Instagram post in March.
