Erika Kirk has publicly addressed Candace Owens and Druski in an extensive podcast episode.
On April 29, the CEO of Turning Point USA used her podcast platform to reflect on the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, held approximately four days prior. The tragic shooting at the Washington Hilton Hotel occurred just over six months ago, when her late husband, Charlie Kirk, was fatally shot while delivering remarks at a public gathering at Utah Valley University in September 2025. Charlie’s widow appeared visibly shaken as she departed the scene.
The 37-year-old then addressed the “hate” directed at her following her husband’s murder. This follows criticism from far-right commentator Candace Owens, 37, who publicly questioned the CEO after she abruptly canceled a Turning Point USA event in mid-April.
Dressed in a black cap and matching long-sleeved top, Erika began, “Everyone is asking why I went to the White House Correspondents’ dinner. It was because many of the journalists in that room had attempted to dehumanize me. And I wanted to meet them face to face. Quite frankly, why have a conversation about me, when you can have a conversation with me?”

She subsequently turned her attention to the hostility she faces, stating, “Every morning I wake up, there’s a new headline lying about me,” according to the Mirror US.
“I have comedians dressing up in white face,” she said, alluding to Druski’s viral sketch. “I have people saying I’m not fit to be a CEO.
“And I have Candace Owens claiming I murdered my husband,” she singled out the media figure before pressing on. “And the list goes on and on and on.”
Erika asserted there exists “a series of epidemic dehumanization playing in this country.” She maintained that the “most unthinkable tragedies have become commonplace in our daily headlines” and blamed the media for discovering “a way to conveniently explain away violence.

“This is what we’re up against,” she reiterated twice before declaring, “What is happening right now, none of us can afford to ignore anymore.”
She proceeded to clarify her husband’s motivation behind establishing the nonprofit organization, explaining, “So we can have civil discourse and debate and open dialogue. Because when we stop talking to each other, bad things happen.
“I am choosing to fight for America, for my children, for your children, and for our humanity. We all need to do our part, and by the grace of God, we will succeed, and America will remain what she was always called to be. A shining city on a hill, a light to the world,” she concluded.

On March 25, in a video captioned “How Conservative Women in America Act,” Druski employed prosthetics and cosmetics to impersonate a figure bearing a resemblance to Erika Kirk. He presented a blonde, white woman moving through multiple situations, including a simulated press briefing.
The unidentified character declared, “We have to protect all men in America, especially all white men in America.” On February 25, Candace — who served as Turning Point USA’s communications director between 2017 and 2019 — suggested that “the version Erika is telling us today or yesterday was just recently downloaded into her mind and she therefore thinks it’s true.”
Owens further remarked, “It’s like a faulty memory or something. I’m saying I’m not sure that she’s fully aware that she’s lying because some of the lies are so stupid.”
Since Charlie’s death, Owens has become increasingly vocal in her criticism of Erika, while Erika herself has pushed back against conspiracy theorists surrounding her late husband’s passing.
