(NewsNation) — YouTube star Trisha Paytas will join the cast of HBO’s Emmy-award-winning series “Euphoria” for Season 3.
“Euphoria” season 3 is set to release in the spring of 2026 after a four-year hiatus. The hit drama follows the lives of teenage students as they deal with themes of addiction, love and trauma. Reports indicate that the upcoming season will feature a time jump, taking the characters out of high school.
An announcement on the show’s Instagram account confirmed the addition of several new cast members as well as the return of some beloved supporting characters.

Who is joining the cast of ‘Euphoria’ season 3?
18 new characters were listed in the social media announcement, including: Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Colleen Camp, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, Jessica Blair Herman, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Natasha Lyonne, Rebecca Pidgeon, Sam Trammell and Trisha Paytas.
Paytas has spent nearly two decades building a prominent internet following, with millions of YouTube views, successful podcasts and an appearance on Season 20 of “Celebrity Big Brother UK.”
It was also previously announced that some other multi-talented stars are set to join the season 3 cast, most notably Grammy-winning singer Rosalía and former NFL star Marshawn Lynch, as reported by Deadline.

Other stars previously announced to join the cast include: Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Sharon Stone, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Kadeem Hardison, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, Anna Van Patten and Asante Blackk.
Who is returning for ‘Euphoria’ season 3?
The new cast members join returning leads: Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry and Colman Domingo.
The Instagram post also confirmed the return of supporting cast members: Alanna Ubach, Daeg Faerch, Dominic Fike, Melvin Bonez Estes, Nika King, Paula Marshall, Sophia Rose Wilson and Zak Steiner.
What big names aren’t returning for ‘Euphoria’ season 3?
“Euphoria” will return for its highly anticipated third season without some of its fan favorite cast members.
Angus Cloud, who played the loveable drug dealer Fez in the show, will not be returning after he tragically passed away in July 2023.
Storm Reid, who played Rue’s (Zendaya’s) sister Gia in the show, will not return.
Barbie Ferreira, who played main character Kat, will also not return for the show’s third season.
