Emmy Awards remained elusive to HBO’s House of the Dragon, and unlike its predecessor, Game of Thrones, which received a whopping total of 59 Emmy wins during its eight-season run, the prequel show is yet to make a statement.
House of the Dragon is currently in production for Season 3, and, while the release date is yet to be determined, it is expected to premiere sometime in 2026.
It might feel a little too far ahead to predict its possible Emmy nods, but given the material we have and what viewers should expect from the series, the spinoff definitely has a chance of nomination for a couple of categories.
