Taylor Swift has finally found her prince charming in Travis Kelce, but she’s previously been involved in some of her friends’ love stories by serving as a bridesmaid in their weddings.
Swift was a bridesmaid for the very first time during childhood best friend Britany Maack LaManna’s wedding in 2016, where the “Love Story” singer served as the maid of honor. However, Maacks’ wedding was not the only time Swift has stood by a friend’s side as they’ve said “I do.”

Britany Maack LaManna’s Wedding
Maack LaMann married her childhood sweetheart during a ceremony in her and Swift’s hometown of Reading, Pennsylvania, in February 2016.
While the bride shared several photos on social media of the special day, she also teased some of Swift’s speech in a video.
“My favorite accomplishment of my entire life is that everything in my life has changed except for me and Britany,” Swift said during her speech. “She was my partner in crime at Brownie’s sleepaway camp and she was my date to the Grammys. And little did either of us know that prince charming for Britany would be the kid that sat next to me in class with a bowl cut and a Lego lunchbox.”
Abigail Anderson’s Wedding
Longtime Swift fans learned Abigail Anderson’s name after she was mentioned in the 2008 hit “Fifteen” and the more recent track “Ruin the Friendship” featured on the pop star’s 2025 album, The Life of a Showgirl.
The pair became friends when Swift moved from Pennsylvania to Nashville in high school. They proved their friendship was the real deal when Swift served as a bridesmaid in Anderson’s 2017 wedding to Matt Lucier in Martha’s Vineyard.
At the time, Swift was photographed helping Anderson into the wedding venue as she donned a long-flowing, burgundy bridesmaid dress. Swift wore her hair down in loose curls and rocked her signature red lipstick for the special occasion.
Anderson and Lucier later divorced in 2021 and Swift’s high school bestie found love again when she married now-husband Charles “Charlie” Berard in September 2022.
While Anderson confirmed her second marriage, she did not share photos of the bridal party on social media and it’s not known if Swift was a bridesmaid for her more recent wedding.

Lena Dunham’s Wedding
Another longtime friend that Swift served as a bridesmaid for was Lena Dunham, who married Luis Felber in September 2021.
Dunham confirmed that Swift was part of her wedding party alongside Myha’la Herrold, Rosa Mercuriadis, Tommy Dorfman, Jenna Hally Rubenstein, Alma-Kori Felber and Alissa Bennett while speaking to British Vogue about the big day in September 2021.
“I spent so much time during the pandemic talking to my girlfriends about our feelings over FaceTime, but a few of my best friends I haven’t seen in over a year,” Dunham told the outlet about her bridal party. “And, you know, my girlfriends have had to deal with a lot of not-so-happy things with me in our adulthood, so to be able to celebrate something joyful and use it as an excuse to be together was very special.”
