Princess Catherine has impressed royal fans today as she led the nation in remembering all Australians and New Zealanders who have served their country. The Princess of Wales, 44, stepped out at The Cenotaph just before 11am on Saturday morning to mark Anzac Day.
Dressed in a navy blazer dress with white lapels, Prince William’s wife laid a wreath on behalf of her father-in-law, King Charles. The future Queen, who wore a poppy as a mark of remembrance, looked poignant throughout the event as she joined in remembering the many war heroes.
After The Cenotaph event, the royal mum-of-three later attended the Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey, after The Cenotaph’s event concluded.
This Westminster Abbey service, which was a traditional church service, included an address from the Dean of Westminster, readings from the New Zealand and Australian High Commissioners, prayers read by children of each country, and a Māori waiata (song) performed by London-based Ngāti Rānana.
While Princess Catherine is a very popular royal anyway, her appearance at the events today has left royal fans all saying the same thing, as the princess is flocked with praise for her “regal” and “dignified” manner.
One royal fan wrote on X: “So very regal, respectful and dignified.”
Another person commented: “That’s our future Queen…so dignified, so beautiful, so perfect.”
Someone else said: “She was born for this.”
Prince William did not attend the events alongside his wife today.
