When country singer Jordan Davis came to Palm Desert’s Acrisure Arena to open his “Ain’t Enough Road” tour Thursday, Sept. 11, things didn’t quite go the way he hoped.
Instead, Davis was beset by vocal trouble that he proclaimed had him sounding far less than his usual best and led him to issue several apologies throughout the night. Still, the clearly frustrated Louisianan declared the show would go on and managed to power through a set that contained a healthy mix of the hits that have powered his rise to fame as well as songs from his newly released album “Learn The Hard Way.”
