The beloved soundtrack for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is now even bigger with six new tracks added as part of a new expansion.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was released in April and quickly became one of the best-reviewed games of the year. Last week, the role-playing game broke Game Awards record when it won nine trophies at the 2025 ceremony, including the prestigious Game Of The Year award.

As a thank you to fans, creators released a free expansion. It includes “challenging boss battles for late-game players to overcome within the Endless Tower,” as well as the much-requested photo mode alongside several quality of life updates.

The biggest addition is a new, playable environment that takes the characters of Expedition 33 to Verso’s Drafts – “a whimsical storybook adventure with ties to a young Verso. Players will encounter celebratory Gestrals, surprising new locations and an encounter with a sinister, powerful presence.”

The new playable environment also features six brand new songs composed by Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’s Lorien Testard, which have also been shared on streaming services.

The new ‘Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – Verso’s Drafts’ tracklisting is as follows:

‘Osquio’
‘Whee Whoo Days’
‘Time To Swim Swim’
‘Where He Used To Play’
‘The End In Me’
‘Pour Que Naisse Un Bouquet’

Despite a controversial snub at the 2026 Grammys, the soundtrack for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has won awards at The Game Awards and The World Soundtrack Awards. It’s also inspired a concert tour. After a four-date run earlier this year, the music of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is set to tour across Europe early next year – however fans were left devastated when tickets sold out in a matter of minutes.

Organisers have teased that more dates will be announced in the near future. Creator Guillaume Broche has also revealed that Clair Obscur is the “franchise name,” and Expedition 33 is just “one of the stories that we want to tell in this franchise,” with fans hoping for a sequel.

In other news, Tomb Raider: Legacy Of Atlantis is set to launch next year with a new actor taking on the role of Lara Croft.
