A pre-concert talk with music director Bruce Anthony Kiesling will begin at 2:10 p.m. — offering audiences insight into the program and the music they’ll hear, according to a community announcement.
Bravo Bravado will explore musical expressions of bravery and boldness through works by Gala Flagello, Maurice Ravel and Jean Sibelius.
The concert will feature pianist Rodolfo Leone, who will perform Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major. Leone has performed extensively across Europe, North America and China, appearing in venues such as the Musikverein in Vienna, Steinway Hall in London and Beijing’s National Centre for the Performing Arts.

The major feature of the program is Gala Flagello’s Bravado, a composition from 2023 that captures the many shades of courage through vibrant orchestral color and shifting character, according to the announcement.
The performance of Bravado is sponsored by the Adrian Symphony Orchestra’s New Music Society, established in 2013 to support the creation and performance of new music.
The performance will conclude with Jean Sibelius’s Symphony No. 2, one of the composer’s most powerful and enduring works, according to the announcement.
The 2025–26 season will continue with Holidays in Harmony at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 13 in Dawson Auditorium. The concert is an audience favorite and provides an opportunity to celebrate the season with family and friends.
