A royal expert has revealed the four scathing words insiders use to describe Prince William’s true feelings towards his estranged brother, as the pair make no plans to reunite despite being just kilometres apart.
Prince Harry has been on the fringes of the royal family since he and his wife, Meghan Markle, stepped back as working members of the royal family in 2020.
Since then, the scorned royal has made serious allegations about his family in his memoir Spare, with a furious Prince William put in the line of fire.
According to TalkTV host Mark Dolan, Prince William has reached a point of no return and has let it be known to those closest to him.
Speaking on the Daily Expresso podcast, Dolan revealed multiple sources have told him that Prince William “f-ing hates his brother.”
“Those two are over, and that William, I mean multiple quotes, ‘F-ing hates his brother,’ despises his brother,” Dolan said.
“‘No longer brothers’ might be the strongest that I’ve been told, all from different people.”
Despite the tension, Dolan said that Prince William would never deny his brother security protections.
The Duke of Sussex has been embroiled in an ongoing legal battle to reinstate his tax-funded security for when he and his family visit the UK.
Harry’s request to receive taxpayer-funded security during his current trip was denied by the British government’s Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC), leaving him to travel without his wife, Meghan Markle, and children, Lilibet, 5, and Archie, 7.
“So, notwithstanding (the tension), I cannot imagine a world in which William tells RAVEC that the security authorities do not protect that guy. I just can’t see it,” he said.
A source told News.com.au that Harry had a “great sadness” due to not bringing his family to the UK so he can introduce his children to the wider family.
“It’s been a real point of great sadness – for Harry especially – that he’s been unable to bring his wife and kids back to the UK safely to reconnect with friends and family, but anyone would understand his desire to put their safety first,” the source said.
“He would love to introduce the children to his wider family, to show them the UK, where he grew up – his homeland. That would be a natural thing for any parent.”
Prince Harry touched down in London earlier this week for public engagements surrounding preparations for the 2027 Invictus Games.
While the Duke of Sussex made his first official appearance since returning to the UK at Chatham House, his brother was simultaneously undertaking royal duties in west London, just 19 kilometres away.
There were no reports that the pair met for a reunion at any stage.
The brothers have not publicly reunited since their uncle Lord Robert Fellowes’ funeral service in Norfolk.
Onlookers said the pair exchanged no words and kept a distance throughout the whole day.
