Fall classic, Gilmore Girls, turns 25 and Lauren Graham gets Walk of Fame star
WFXR – This Sunday, October 5, is the 25th anniversary of the “Gilmore Girls“ premiere, and today, one of the main stars, Lauren Graham, received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
To celebrate, CableTV has collected some data on how much coffee the girls drank, who the public thinks Rory’s best boyfriend was, and is offering a “Gilmore Girls dream job” on Instagram.
CableTV reports that the girls drank 503 cups of coffee on screen, with Season 1 being the most cups in a single season, at 80 cups. Out of all the cups consumed, Lorelai drank 248 of them.
However, other sources, such as the Gilmore To Say podcast, put the total count of coffee consumed by the girls on screen at 432 cups. So you may want to rewatch the entire show again and come to your own conclusion.
According to CableTV, the word coffee is mentioned 621 times in the scripts, which is an average of four times per episode.

One of the most prominent debates to come from the fall rewatch classic is which of Rory’s boyfriends is the best. CableTV decided they wanted to get to the bottom of who the winner is by polling 1,000 U.S. adults.
The results are divided:
Lauren Graham fueled the fire today at her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony by mentioning that one boyfriend may have just earned a few extra points from her.
“I never pick a team, but I do have to say, Czuchry is here,” Graham joked about the actor who played Logan in the series. “Ventimiglia? No. Padalecki? Points for Logan,” she continued as she mimicked writing down points on an ongoing tally system.
The last thing CableTV is doing to celebrate is offering a $200 Visa gift card and a $50 Starbucks gift card to binge-watch your favorite season of the show over the course of one weekend. To enter, follow them on Instagram for more details.
