Harlem Shake’s beloved Mr./ Miss Harlem Shake contest returns with free burgers, cash prizes and community pride

ST. CLOUD (WJON News) — There is a lot of entertainment to choose from this fall on the stage at the Pioneer Place on Fifth in downtown St. Cloud.

The new season kicks off next weekend.

Owner Ray Herrington says ticket sales for the September shows have been strong so far.

Yeah, very strong.  I’m kind of surprised; it’s a great sign of good things to come.  We really haven’t talked about the schedule much yet on the radio, and haven’t done a lot of promotion for it, but it’s going really well.

Just a few tickets remain for the tribute to the band Boston on Saturday, September 6th.

The following weekend, on Friday, September 12th, Janelle Kendall and the Perfect Storm have a night of Heart and Solid Gold Rock Anthems.

On Saturday, September 13th, is the 7 Wonders of Rock.

Tickets to those two shows are also limited.

The Pioneer Place has announced its schedule through the upcoming holiday season.

Michael Shynes is coming up; that will sell out. There’s a John Cougar Mellencamp tribute, the Mall Ratz, and the Queen show is a ton of fun.

Beautiful Photos From Clemens Gardens

This weekend was a great one to get out and do something fun. I wanted to destress, so I drove over to Clemens Gardens for a nice stroll through the gardens. What a beautiful place it is. There are flowers everywhere, as well as fountains and statues. These photos only capture part of what’s available to see, but in case you haven’t had a chance to visit, now is a great time to view them, as everything is in full bloom. Take a look at some beautiful photos and then make a plan to take your own trip. All of your senses will thank you.
