Fans Are Calling Out This ‘Awkward’ PDA Moment With Walton Goggins & His Wife Nadia Conners

The 2025 Emmys are here, and while everyone is gearing up for the actual show tonight at 8 PM, the red carpet is in full swing. While we’re waiting for quite a lot of stars to come onto the carpet, one major White Lotus star, Walton Goggins, has arrived, alongside his wife Nadia Conners. Fans instantly noticed two things: that they twinned in white, and their PDA moment. However, fans are also calling out this “awkward” moment already.

In case you missed it, Variety shared a video from the Emmys red carpet to their Instagram with the caption reading, “Walton Goggins from #TheWhiteLotus kisses his wife, Nadia Conners, on the #Emmys red carpet.” (You can see the video HERE!)

Now, this PDA moment has garnered a lot of criticism, with fans commenting things like “Uhhh was that awkward for anyone else? 😗,” “That was so weird 🫠,” “Holy awkward turtle 🐢,” and “Oh boy. The body language here is screaming marital issues.”

We’re not going to speculate on the state of their marriage like fans are, but most fans are in agreement that this PDA moment seems…off? Awkward? Lots of things are being said, and it seems the night is only getting started.

For those who don’t know, Goggins, who is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at tonight’s Emmys, married Conners after meeting in 2005. They share one son together, who is seemingly absent from the Emmys tonight.

There was a lot of speculation about the state of their marriage amid those hectic Aimee Lou Wood rumors, but they’ve brushed it all off. In fact, Conners addressed the speculation in a May interview with Hello, saying, “It’s odd to see it, but it’s an indication of how much people were invested in the fictional characters. I take it as a sign that he’s become quite popular.”
