Ryan Seacrest is closing a chapter of sorts.
The star took over as host of Wheel of Fortune from Pat Sajak in late 2024. As the show wrapped filming season 43 on May 21 this year, the TV personality expressed his gratitude to all who made the year as incredible as it was.
“Thank you to the Wheel crew for another great season!” Ryan wrote in the Instagram caption.
Ryan wasn’t the only one feeling the love for the show. Wheel of Fortune’s social media correspondent, Maggie Sajak, also had some thoughts about it.
“Squad goals ☺️☺️☺️,” she replied in the comments.
When fans saw the news, they rallied around him with love and support.
“Thank you, Ryan for everything you’re the best ❤️,” one person wrote. “Great way to celebrate the work you do on Wheel of Fortune!” another agreed. “I can’t believe it is coming to an end already,” a different follower added.
And no need to worry that this is truly the end of an era: Ryan is likely to return to host season 44 of Wheel of Fortune, with the first episodes expected sometime in September 2026. In the meantime, Ryan isn’t going anywhere, thanks to his daily radio show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest, which airs every weekday on local stations across the United States.
Congrats, Ryan!
