After Josh Duhamel shared the news that he’d welcomed his third baby, his second with wife Audra Mari, his ex-wife Fergie reacted to the news.
On Saturday, May 17, the actor, 53, announced in a joint Instagram post with wife Mari that the couple welcomed their second baby together. “Rocca de Leon Duhamel,” they captioned the photo. “Our baby girl is here 🤍🕊️.”
In the comments, Duhamel’s ex-wife Fergie, with whom he shares son Axl, 12, chimed in to quietly share her congratulations. “🎀🎀💗💗,” she wrote.

Alongside Axl, Duhamel is also dad to son Shepherd, whom he welcomed in 2024 with Mari.
Duhamel and Fergie were married from 2009 to 2017. The pair finalized their divorce in 2019.
The actor recently spoke about his marriage to Fergie while appearing on a March 25 episode of The Megyn Kelly Show. “It was a huge sort of shift because she was a massive star at the time, and it was a big adjustment for me, if I’m being honest,” Duhamel said of the relationship.
“But you know, Fergie is a very normal person at the end of the day. Good mom. We have a great relationship, she and my wife actually get along,” he continued.
“She’s a great mom. I’m extremely happily married now to my wife Audra, we have a beautiful son and a little girl on the way, and they have a great relationship, which is what I really care about – making sure that everybody’s just copacetic,” Duhamel said. “I just want peace and I don’t want any infighting between anybody. I think they’ve all been, thankfully, very civil in the way they approach this whole thing. It could be ugly, but thankfully it’s not.”
Ahead of welcoming his baby girl, Duhamel shared his excitement about becoming a girl dad while speaking with E! News about his comedy Preschool. The actor told fellow new dad Derek Hough that he “cannot wait to meet her.”
“I don’t know what to make of it. I’m just so — I cannot wait to meet her,” he said. “And I think there’s something about dads and their little girls. It’s different, you know?”
Mari first revealed that she was pregnant again in an Instagram carousel filled with black-and-white photos of herself baring her baby bump. In the first image, Mari sat in a bed with her legs crossed while wearing a half-buttoned top with her stomach exposed as she smiled at the camera. A second image showed her beaming as she looked down to cradle her belly.
“Adding a little girl to our story. We can’t wait to meet you,” she captioned her post.
