Film crews spotted filming Rose Drake by Worcester Cathedral

Film crews were seen around Worcester Cathedral and on the River Severn footpath as they got shots for a new vampire romance movie.

The film, called Rose Drake, is set to explore the theme of loss and grief through a sci-fi tale starring Hannah Rose and Joe Hughes.

The cast also includes Ben Batt, known for his roles in Shameless, Toxic Town and In The Dark, and Susan Brown, who is a regular face on the National Theatre stage and also featured in Game of Thrones and The Iron Lady.

Staff hope to list the show at the 2027 Cannes Film Awards.

Camera crews will also be seen filming in Broad Street, Pershore, on Monday.
