HauntFest
- WHERE: Terrapin Beer Co. (265 Newton Bridge Rd.)
- WHEN: Saturday, April 11, from 2 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; Sunday, April 12, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. ($20 admission)
- DETAILS: Athens‑born HauntFest returns with an immersive celebration of spooky arts featuring live music, roaming ghouls, fire performers, artist vendors, and hands‑on workshops. Normaltown Music Festival
- WHERE: Athentic Brewing Co. (108 Park Ave.)
- WHEN: Saturday, April 11, from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. ($25 admission; free for kids 15 and under)
- DETAILS: This all‑ages music festival features two stages of local and regional bands, food trucks, and beer, with proceeds benefiting Nuçi’s Space, Boys & Girls Clubs of Athens, and Love.Craft Athens. There will be a free kickoff event from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, April 10, with live band karaoke. R&B Karaoke Tribute
- WHERE: Morton Theatre (195 W. Washington St.)
- WHEN: Saturday, April 11, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. ($40–$50 reserved seating)
- DETAILS: This live karaoke event invites audience members to perform classic R&B hits from the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s on the historic Morton Theatre stage. Fred Birchmore Exhibit
- WHERE: Historic Athens Welcome Center (292 E. Dougherty St.)
- WHEN: Sunday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to noon (Free opening reception)
- DETAILS: This exhibit explores the life of Athens adventurer Fred Birchmore, who famously bicycled 25,000 miles around the world in the 1930s. Opening day includes a free coffee reception, curator talks, and tours of the historic Church‑Waddel‑Brumby House. The exhibit will be on display until Sunday, April 19.
The Princess Bride: An Inconceivable Evening with Cary Elwes
