FNC Entertainment CEO Kim Yoo-sik purchased his own shares.
FNC Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as FNC) announced on the 20th that CEO Kim Yoo-sik purchased 28,878 common shares of his company.
The on-site purchase was made to convey confidence in the company’s mid- to long-term growth potential and its commitment to responsible management to the market. The company said key executives and related parties, including CEO Kim Yoo-sik, are considering buying additional shares.
FNC is strengthening its growth base by reorganizing its business portfolio around core businesses such as music, actor management, and drama production.
While FT Island and CNBLUE maintain their performance base with stable activities, the music business continues to grow rapidly thanks to the growth of major artists such as P1 Harmony and N.Flying.
Actor Jung Hae-in is also steadily working on Netflix’s “Sweet Love” and MBC’s entertainment show “Manito Club.”
In addition, FNC is in the process of producing the Netflix original “Love Affair,” and FNC director Kim Sung-yong is preparing for his next film. Both dramas are scheduled to air in 2027.
“We have laid the foundation for the turnaround by improving the company’s constitution and strengthening selected core businesses over the past three years,” FNC CEO Kim Yoo-sik said. “The next three years will build the foundation for the company to upgrade to the next level by strengthening profits.”
