Foo Fighters have shared a music video for their new single, ‘Spit Shine’. You can check it out below.
The track is from the band’s latest album, ‘Your Favourite Toy’, which was co produced by Foos and Oliver Roman. It was also mixed by Mike ‘Spent’ Stent, and released via Roswell Records/Columbia Records last Friday (April 24).
Speaking about the album previously, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl said: “‘Your Favorite Toy’ really was the key that unlocked the tone and energetic direction of the new album”.
He added: “We stumbled upon it after experimenting with different sounds and dynamics for over a year, and the day it took shape I knew that we had to follow its lead. It was the fuse to the powder keg of songs we wound up recording for this record. It feels new”.

It has certainly been a busy time for the Grohl family, after Dave’s daughter Violet recently shared her new solo single, Cool Buzz, and also announced her debut run of US Tour dates.
The track is part of her new album Be Sweet To Me’ via Auroura Records/Republic Records/Island Records UK on May 29. The album also features tracks ‘THUM’, ‘Applefish’ and ‘595′.
“‘Cool Buzz’ is about “poking fun at moral inconsistencies in punk guys who preach progressive politics, but then in their own musical spaces won’t let women have a chance”, Violet said of the track. More on this story from Nova here.
