Chicago emo-grungers Footballhead definitely fit that mold, and they take the late-’90s thing further than most. Consider: They shot their new video in what appears to be a high-school gym, and frontman Ryan Nolen is wearing some absolutely enormous jeans. Footballhead’s new album Weight Of The Truth is on the way, and we’ve posted the early tracks “Hesitate” and “Used To Be.” “Diversion,” their latest, is a propulsive riff-stomper with a video from directors Tom Conway and Chris Owsiany.
