Former Bon Jovi guitarist and singer Richie Sambora has sold a worse-than-dismal 80 equivalent copies of his big comeback single “Born to Rock”, according to insiders.

“It’s not just underperforming — it’s invisible,” a music industry source tells Straight Shuter. “There’s no traction. No radio play. No buzz.” Sources say Sambora had hoped to parlay the single into a full album campaign — and possibly a tour — but now he has to face the music.

“He might have been born to rock,” says one exec, “but the charts were not born to care.”
