Happy Players’ Weekend! The White Sox are in Kansas City to kick off a road trip while the Savannah Bananas take over Rate Field this weekend.
While MLB hardly celebrates Players’ Weekend any longer (at least not with fun nicknames on the back of jerseys), Davis Martin is getting the opportunity to express himself via a pair of cleats designed just for him.

Aaron Civale is on the mound tonight, looking to bounce back after his last start. Luckily for him, the lineup is full of powerful hitters, most of whom have had a very good August.
Noah Cameron (6-5) will be on the mound tonight for the Royals. Cameron, who owns an ERA of just 2.52, has been bouncing between the Omaha Storm Chasers and the majors all season, so he’s only pitched 16 games for the Royals in 2025.
