New York City-based designer Gabriela Hearst has named Michele Cohen as president—a role “newly defined to reflect the brand’s continued commercial momentum and global growth,” per the label. Cohen joined Gabriela Hearst in 2015 as global head of sales. In this role, Cohen will lead global commercial strategy, overseeing wholesale, retail and e-commerce, with a focus on expanding the business across markets, channels and categories.
Heritage-brand house Gap Inc. announced the appointment of Pam Kaufman to the newly-created role of executive vice president, chief entertainment officer, effective Feb. 2. In this role, Kaufman will further develop the group’s strategy for its “fashiontainment” creator affiliate and advocacy platform. She will focus on leveraging relationships within entertainment and licensing to help scale brand partnerships by connecting them with the right people and platforms.

German sports giant Puma has named Nadia Kokni as vice president, global brand marketing. She joins Puma’s global leadership team and reports directly to chief brand officer Maria Valdes. Anne Putz also joins Puma as senior director of corporate communications. In this role, she will lead the brand’s external and internal corporate communications and act as the company’s spokesperson, reporting directly to CEO Arthur Hoeld.
