Celebrities and politicians alike have been mourning the death of political activist Charlie Kirk. Country singer Gavin Adock, who has recently sparked controversy over comments about Beyoncé’s country music, ended his recent concert with a moving tribute dedicated to Kirk, who died at 31. Adock then posted a lengthy message on Instagram, encouraging his followers to stand firm in their beliefs. His post seemingly resonated with many, who swarmed his comment section with praise.

For those unfamiliar, Adock is a former NCAA football player turned country singer, known for his musical projects “Actin’ Up Again” and “Own Worst Enemy,” as well as some of his outspoken and controversial takes.
He honored Kirk at the end of his recent concert at Cable Dahmer Arena in Missouri.
The musician, 26, led the crowd, chanting “Charlie Kirk” while proudly waving an American flag above his head. He also shared a message about faith and hope.
“Jesus loves every single one of you in this place tonight. Charlie Kirk’s with Jesus. I want ya’ll to say some thoughts and prayers tonight before you go to sleep. When you lay down by yourself or by your loved one, say some prayers for somebody that needs it. I appreciate every single one of ya’ll. I hope you have a safe trip home,” he told the audience.

The praise and adoration for Kirk didn’t end there. Adcock shared the emotional moment on his Instagram, captioning the post, “I didn’t get the privilege of meeting Charlie Kirk, but anybody that loves Jesus is a friend of mine.”
Adcock further stated that despite the tragic outcome, Kirk’s message was “not silenced” by his murder.
He added, “His voice is now stronger than ever and will make an impact for centuries. There is not a thing in the world you can say to make this better, but my thoughts and prayers go out to every single person that is hurting from this horrible tragedy.”
Adcock then encouraged his followers to stand firm in their beliefs, regardless of who opposes them. “The truth is rare nowadays,” he wrote before finishing with a Bible verse from the book of Psalms.
“You who love the LORD, hate evil! Hate protects the lives of his godly people and rescues them from the power of the wicked,” the post finished.

Users rushed to Adock’s comment section, praising him and Kirk, with one person writing, “I’m an even bigger fan of you now than I was before.”
Other users wrote about the impact they believe Kirk left on the world.
“Charlie’s legacy is pointing people to Christ. Jesus Christ, the name above all names, Lord above all Lords. God most high,” a user posted.
Someone else echoed that sentiment, posting, “Oh, that gospel is REALLY about to spread like a wildfire! Praise you, Jesus. Always bringing beauty from ashes.”

And Adock isn’t the only notable figure speaking out about Kirk’s death and hoping to share the message of Jesus with the public.
Harrison Butker, the Kansas City Chiefs’ star kicker, posted a screenshot on his Instagram of a text conversation he had with the late political activist.
Kirk sent the Super Bowl champion a Bible verse, to which Butker replied, saying, “On the mission.”
Butker also wrote a lengthy caption, thanking Kirk, who was shot and killed during a speaking event in Orem, Utah, for being what he describes as a leader and upstanding family man.
Suspect In Kirk Shooting Could Face Death Penalty

According to a previous report from The Blast, law enforcement officials captured the suspect, Tyler Robinson, on Friday, September 12, 2025.
The 22-year-old was booked on charges of “aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury, and obstruction of justice.”
Robinson could face the death penalty, a legal punishment in the state of Utah.
According to multiple sources, including Utah Governor Spencer Cox, Robinson was turned over to law enforcement by a family member.
Although all of the details around the shooting are still unclear, Robinson’s family shared that the alleged shooter believed Kirk to be a person “full of hate,” hinting that his disdain for the late right-wing commentator could’ve been the motivating factor behind his behavior.
