James is more interested in showing his Halloween loot to Cody than his father. Felicia introduces the two men and Nathan notices how much James loves Cody. She reassures him that he’ll form a bond with his son. Spinelli says James needs everyone in his life right now, and Nathan brings up custody.
Halloween Brings Memories of Sam’s Death
The Davis coven try to cheer up Scout, but she’s not interested in trick or treating on the one-year anniversary of Sam’s death. The three agree to watch a movie instead. While carving pumpkins, Scout admits her father never talks about Sam and Kristina to tell her stories.
Molly heads out to pick up cupcakes, running into Cody who insists on walking her out. He explains tNathan was feeling bad that James gravitated towards him, so he used the excuse to give father and son some bonding time.
Nathan understands it’s complicated and knows James isn’t ready for Nathan to be his father. He says he just wants to get to know James better and not disrupt his life. Felicia has a cake for Maxie’s birthday, and they share a moment while Cody watches from the window.
Danny tells Alexis Halloween is just a reminder of losing his mother. She tells him not to hide his grief and knows he misses Sam. Danny says he can deal with it but that they need to focus on Scout, who’s dealing with this alone. Danny says his mother told him to look out for Scout and he can’t do it. He blames himself and says he let Sam down.
Alexis says Drew sees Jason when he looks at Danny and it’s not his fault. Danny says he misses her and can’t believe it’s been a year. Alexis tearfully says Sam lives on in both Danny and Scout. Jason stops by to pick up Danny who gives Alexis a bag of candy for Scout, who later shares them with the women.
Sonny Wants Justine Off Willow’s Case on General Hospital
Sonny and Justine hang out at the hatchet bar where he has a dinner set up for her. Sonny wants her to recuse herself, claiming Alexis will tear her apart. Justine says she won’t lose but Sonny says she’ll earn Drew’s wrath, and he’ll try to end her career.
Justine thinks he wants a less experienced DA who’ll get Willow acquitted, since she’s the mother of his grandchildren. Sonny warns her again to steer clear of the trial, but she’s determined to beat Alexis in court.
Is Tracy the Glue Holding the Quartermaine’s Together?
Gio is surprised to find Tracy at the mansion, and she explains about Monica’s real will. He wonders where everyone else is and she tells him she kicked them out. Gio says he’s gotten to know Ronnie and thinks she’s a decent person. He thinks Tracy should cut Ronnie a little slack,
Tracy offers to let Gio move in, but he says he’s happy at Sonny’s. Gio thinks Monica left Tracy the house because she trusted her to hold the family together. Tracy disagrees, saying she’s not the glue that keeps them together. Gio tries to convince her to see she’s the head of the family now and she should put aside her differences.
Anna Gets Kidnapped on General Hospital
Anna asks Jason to talk to Britt to find out if Faison is still alive. Anna finds it too much of a coincidence that both kids have returned from the dead. She says she feels Faison’s presence closing in on her.
Anna is upset she never was able to protect everyone from Faison and she has to be the one to end him. Jason promises he’ll talk to Britt for her. Anna says Jason is the only one she can trust right now. Jason says he shot Faison and is certain he’s dead.
Anna says she feels powerless with fear and Jason wonders if that’s what Sidwell and whoever he’s working with want. He thinks they can do what they want because she’ll be too distracted and tells her not to fall for it. Later, Anna leaves a message for Jack, to discuss the issue. Someone is in her backseat and they chloroform her.
Anna wakes up, tied to a chair in an empty room and Faison’s voice comes through a speaker.
