General Hospital has given fans a lot of chaos to deal with, including Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) drama and Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) medical crisis. However, a recent episode offered some much-needed comedic relief.
Anytime Carly (Laura Wright) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) fight, it makes for great TV. Their fight at the pool, though, took the cake, with Nina getting thrown in.
The aftermath was hysterical and proved why Watros and Wright are so talented. Social media was on fire talking about the women after what went down at the Metro Court pool.
General Hospital Stars Amuse Fans With Their Fights
“I’m sorry, but this took me out. God bless Cynthia and her comedic timing #GH,” read one X. Another X shared a photo of two old ladies having a purse fight, writing, “Nina & Carly at Wiley’s HS graduation 🤷♀️#GH.”
One fan mentioned Nina looking at two onlookers at the pool and saying, “How you doing?” before turning back to take on Carly. “#GH 😂😂😂😂😂I wonder did Cynthia admin that part. Hilarious!”
A different fan gave Watros and Wright the props they so deserve, saying, “I dislike both Nina and Carly, but Laura/Cynthia have great antagonistic chemistry. They crack me up. I hope they are never friends onscreen 🤣. #GH”
“I would have loved for Carly to go in the pool with Nina but of course that wasn’t happening… Have we ever seen LW not completely put together? CW taking the plunge like a champ. And that line ‘how ya doing?’ 😂😂,” said a fan.
Another fan said what we all know: Wright and Watros are on fire in every single scene they do together.

Carly and Nina hate each other for sure, but that is not the case between Watros and Wright. The latter let fans know that, when she re-shared part of the pool scene, shouting out her co-star.
One fan responded to Wright’s words, declaring, “🤣Laura, you all are just the best. I know you all have a blast doing this,. I love it, Cynthia is truly amazing ☺️.”
This isn’t the first time Wright has used social media to praise her General Hospital family. As Parade reported, she had some words for Katelyn MacMullen (Willow) after a challenging day.
The actress also “screamed” over an iconic throwback featuring Genie Francis (Laura) and Anthony Geary (Luke).
Watros and Wright put a smile on fans’ faces, and we sure hope General Hospital gives us more of those Carly and Nina scenes.
