Ocean’s Fourteen is officially happening. The popular heist franchise will further expand with a prequel and a sequel.
Talking to Variety, lead star George Clooney confirmed the plans to revive the franchise, 18 years after the last entry, 2007’s Ocean’s Thirteen. Speaking to the outlet, he confirmed which returning members will be in the reboot, and also confirmed a ’70s cult classic heist film as the inspiration.
The actor acknowledged how much time has passed since the trilogy kicked off, and explained that the inspiration for the reboot is Martin Brest‘s 1979 film Going in Style, a comedy about a group of aging criminals. The heist comedy received a remake in 2017 with Morgan Freeman,…
