George Kittle made Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding a family affair!
The San Francisco 49ers tight end, 32, appeared on a Thursday, July 23 episode of the Unbuttoned podcast and shared what his experience was like at Swift and Kelce’s July 3 wedding in New York City.
“The entire thing was fantastic,” Kittle shared. “I had so much fun.”
Kittle and his wife Claire, 32, were able to attend the event with Kittle’s parents — Bruce Kittle and Jill Krieger — as well as Claire’s mom, Shelly Till. The professional athlete explained that the couple’s parents got invited after Swift met them at Tight End University, an event that Kittle and Kelce co-founded.

“Travis likes Bruce a lot, but then the moms got invited because of Tight End U last year, where they hung out with Taylor for a long time,” said Kittle. “And she just really liked them.”
“So that was kind of fun to have, like, a family outing at Madison Square Garden,” he added.
After Swift and Kelce tied the knot, Kittle and his wife shared a sweet message of congratulations to the couple. The two shared photos from the special day on July 5 on Instagram.
“It was a family affair. Congratulations on finding your exclamation point! JusT&T Married❤️ we love y’all!” they captioned the joint post, which featured a carousel of photos of them dressed in their wedding day best along.
The photos also included several snaps with George’s dad, football coach Bruce Kittle, and his mom, Jan Krieger, who were also in attendance.

Just before Swift and Kelce’s wedding, Kittle famously let slip a few details about the high-profile event. Speaking to reporters at the Tight Ends & Friends Concert Presented by Sports Illustrated and Reese’s in Nashville on June 23, the NFL star hinted that the big day would be very soon, saying that the wedding was “this close.”
And then after Claire revealed that she and her husband would be in attendance, the two admitted that they had no idea where the wedding was going to be held, just two weeks before they were expected to attend.
“I have no idea,” said Kittle when pressed about the venue. “We don’t know,” Claire agreed.
“I actually asked Travis last night and he laughed at me,” continued Kittle. “I’m half expecting there just to be a jumbo jet on the runway and they put us on a plane somewhere. I don’t have expectations, I know it’s going to be amazing.”
