If you have been craving a new dose of travel style inspiration, Gigi Hadid has got you covered. Showing up to John F. Kennedy International Airport yesterday, the model gave a lesson in airport dressing with a colorful and comfy look perfect for a flight.
Kicking things off with a piece from her own label, Guest in Residence, Hadid wore a boxy cotton-cashmere T-shirt in light cobalt blue that was designed with a built-in under-layer. The long sleeve underneath, a butter-yellow cotton-silk number, was airy and lightweight, making for an effortless yet cozy feel.
The cashmere designer paired her top with loose cream trousers that were at once refined and relaxed. She accomplished the same balance with her shoes, a pair of yellow Tory Burch ballet loafers that blended the comfort of a flat with the elegance of a dressier style.
Hadid added an IMG Models baseball cap and sunglasses for a bit of privacy, and for jewelry, she accessorized with gold hoops and a custom charm necklace from Hart.
Of course, the most important part to an airport look is its functionality—and here, the model carried two bags that did just the trick. On one arm, she held her Miu Miu Vivant, a brown leather piece that the star recently posed with for its Steven Meisel-photographed campaign. Inspired by the silhouette of a bowling bag, it was crafted with a soft, rounded body and ample space for all her travel necessities.
In her other hand, she pushed a peach Rimowa carry-on suitcase—personalized with a Guest in Residence sticker.
