Gout Gout and Alexandra Eala are among the sporting stars named in Forbes’ ’30 Under 30 Entertainment & Sports’ list for Asia.
The group consists of 30 leading industry figures aged under 30, which includes the Australian sprint starlet and Philippines tennis star in the 2026 edition.
Gout, 18, has broken a string of junior records on the athletics track, and holds a 100m personal best time of 10.00s flat, along with the men’s 200m world under-20 record.
Eala, 21, is the highest-ever-ranked tennis player from the Philippines, having reached a career high of 29 in March and is on the verge of being a Grand Slam seed.
The list also includes several Olympians, including double Olympic skateboarding gold medallist Yuto Horigome. The Japanese street specialist defended his title from Tokyo 2020 at Paris 2024 and aims to go for an unprecedented threepeat at LA28.
New Zealand’s Olympic high jump champion Hamish Kerr is also recognised among the field, which includes names from Asia and Oceania. He joins Gout and Chinese hurdler Wu Yanni in representing track and field.
Other Olympians named on the Forbes list are Thailand’s badminton silver medallist Kunlavut Vitidsarn, breaking athlete Shigeyuki Nakarai ‘Shigekix’, plus golfers Lee Minjee, and Shannon Xuan Yin Tan.
Japanese wheelchair tennis star Oda Tokito is the sole Paralympic representative, after he became the second athlete to seal the wheelchair men’s singles Career Golden Slam last year.
