There’s a really cool new experience that is happening in downtown Buffalo throughout the summer. This is probably the perfect spot to do some tailgating for concerts and shows that are at the arena for the rest of the summer.
It is called The Yard and it is located nearly directly across the street from the arena in downtown Buffalo. Wednesday through Sundays, The Yard is filled with vendors a bar and almost every weekend day live music and it is very lively. The vibe is very cool there and it would be an awesome night out or at least a stop before or after your events downtown.
Have you ever went to the market in the fall or the winter at the Richardson Olmsted complex?
It is the exact same concept except for in downtown Buffalo and in the summer. It isput on by Buffalo Collective, a popular shop in Western New York.
The hours for The Yard are later Wednesday through Saturday and they close earlier on Sunday for the most part. It is extremely family friendly and they have things like activities for the kids, thanks for them to play with and entertainment as well.
If you are going down to the arena for any more events here’s the following schedule for the rest of the summer:
- Sunday, August 2 – Nate Bargatze: Big Dumb Eyes World Tour (7:00 PM)
- Friday, August 14 – Bryan Adams with special guests Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo (7:30 PM)
- August 17 – WWE RAW
The Yard is scheduled to go through the end of August of this year. Then the Buffalo sabers will be back at the KeyBank Center starting with preseason September 22.
