LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK) — The second annual Green Street Monster Fest (GSMF) is returning to Longview this October and will feature a popular Texas-based rock band.

Bowling for Soup, a popular American rock band that was formed in 1994 in Wichita Falls, will be performing at GSMF. The band is known for its high-energy performances and Grammy-nominated hit ‘Girls All the Bad Guys Want.’
Other acts performing at GSMF include country artist and Longview native Sunny Sweeney, as well as Austin-based indie rock band Quiet Company. Texas blues‑rock guitarist Wes Jeans will also be featured at GSMF along with the Rock Button String Band.
The festival will be held in Downtown Longview on Oct. 25. Tickets to attend GSMF and see Bowling for Soup will go on sale on Wednesday. General admission tickets will cost $39, while VIP tickets, which include Greenside access, two drink tickets, and a festival poster, will cost $125.
