The Furman Department of Music will present a solo recital featuring guitarist Gordon Kreplin Friday, Jan. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in Daniel Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
Kreplin, is an accomplished classical guitarist with a distinguished performance record. His program will feature repertoire spanning multiple musical periods and cultural traditions, performed on both historical and modern instruments. This unique combination will allow audience members to hear the evolution of guitar construction, timbre and performance practice across centuries.
