As the divorce battle between Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban continues, speculation has been rife over the reasons why the couple have split after nealy two decades of marriage.
One rumor that has circled involved country music star Keith and his guitarist Maggie Baugh, however it now appears she is loved up and unlikely to be dating or involved with Keith.
The 25-year-old musician is said to instead be loved up with California lighting designer Cameron Coley, also 25. Earlier this year the couple were thought to have celebrated their first anniversary, and are said to have moved in together in Nashville.
In a social media post obtained by the Daily Mail, the couple were in a post uploaded by Cameron featuring pictures of their relationship. Cameron captioned the carousel of images as he wrote, “1 year my love. A lifetime more.”
The duo also reportedly celebrated the guitarist’s December Grand Ole Opry debut with a bottle of wine marking the date and reading, “Opry Invite 12/16/24.” Maggie is said to live in Nashville with residents nearby telling PageSix that she had received mail for Cameron, appearing to confirm they live together.
Rumors of Keith being romantically involved with Maggie emerged after it was noted that during one of his performances in April, he appeared to sing love song lyrics while looking at the guitarist. He was also noted in another performance to have changed lyrics in one song from “When they’re tryna get to you, baby, I’ll be the fighter” to “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player.” Neither Keith nor Nicole have spoken outwardly about the divorce or reasons behind it.
Nicole filed for divorce from Keith on Tuesday, Sept. 30. Within the document, Nicoled cited irreconcilable differences as the reason and wrote the time of separation as the filing date.
The day before, Monday, Sept. 29, there were reports that Nicole and Keith separated since the summer after 19 years of marriage. The reports also added that Nicole was trying to save the marriage.
Nicole and Keith first met in January 2005 and got married in June 2006. The former couple share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. In the divorce filing, Nicole requested to be the primary residential parent in the custody agreement.
After filing for divorce, a source reportedly close to the family told PEOPLE that she is “suprisingly level-headed” but was stressing before the news became public.
“She’s been stressed because she knew the separation would eventually become public and she was dreading it. But she’s surprisingly level-headed and calm. Now that it’s out, she’s just focused on what’s ahead and her girls,” the source told the outlet.
