While trying to threaten the bully of her 6-year-old son via social media, a mother in California has herself become an object of ridicule on the internet. On Instagram Reel posted on her account (@denise.dominguez_), the woman wearing workout clothing threatens through a video in which text overlays say, “POV: To my 6-year-old’s bully’s parents. I hope this finds you. Before I do…” She threatens, grimacing at the camera outdoors, standing beside a car.
However, her justification appears in the comments section, where she says she is taking the right measures, even though people may think otherwise about her. In the caption, she writes, “Yes, I’m handling it the right way and going through the school. But some parents aren’t doing their part… and others will step in if needed. My son is a loving boy. He wants to be friends with everyone. This is me choosing calm. People are going to see what they want to see.”
The post went viral, garnering thousands of comments. Most people did not seem impressed and even predicted that the video would make things worse for the child rather than solve any problem. “Buddy is gonna get bullied more now tbh,” someone wrote. There were harsher responses as well; “I’m ngl this would make me go bully her personally,” one commented. Another person stated, “She just casually ruined that lil boy’s life.”
Many people thought she had shared the post to grab eyeballs on social media. One user called the post “a thirst trap”. Some users even encouraged mothers to teach their children how to handle conflicts constructively.
