The couple, who welcomed their first child in August 2024, spoke candidly about Jack’s personality. Hailey shared that their toddler has already developed an outgoing streak. “He’s like that,” she said. “He’ll just walk up and start hugging.”
Justin echoed her sentiment, explaining that Jack embodies the confidence he always hoped to see in his child. “I always wanted a kid who wasn’t, like, super shy, and didn’t want to go to people,” he said. “He’s super personable and open. It’s too cute.”
The conversation marks one of the rare times the pair has spoken publicly about their son since his birth. Hailey recently discussed motherhood on In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele, reflecting on how she balances her Rhode business with being a present parent. “I’m someone who I always wanted to be a mom, so I’m super, super, super hands-on with my son,” she said. “I do have help—I have full-time help—and I’m super not ashamed to say that. I wouldn’t be able to have my career and do the things that I do without the help.”
She added, “If he’s not with me, he’s with his dad. He’s always with his family, and…he’s always with one of us or with somebody, his godparents or someone [like] that.”
Hailey also opened up about adjusting to motherhood. “Going into it did feel daunting,” she said. “Once he was here, it didn’t feel as daunting. You can never fully prepare yourself for it, because you just don’t know what it’s like until you’re in it.” She continued, “Every single day I’m learning something new about how to be a mom and what’s best for my son and what’s best for me as a mom.”
