THE RUNDOWN
- Justin and Hailey Bieber brought their son, Jack, with them to Coachella.
- Hailey shared photos of Jack dancing with her as Justin rehearsed and of the three posing as a family.
- Hailey spoke earlier this year about the one Justin Bieber song that Jack is already singing.
Justin and Hailey Bieber made their Coachella weekend a family affair. After Justin’s weekend 1 headlining show, Hailey posted photos of their time in Indio, California, with their 1-year-old son, Jack “Blues” Bieber. Jack attended Justin’s rehearsal, wearing a white tank top and black pants. He danced with Hailey to Justin’s set in one slide, and in her last photo, he appeared with a little Bieberchella press-on tattoo.
This isn’t Jack’s first time in the area. After Justin was announced as a Coachella headliner in September, the family visited and shared photos of Jack walking there with his parents.
Justin’s Saturday night performance went viral, and a source spoke to Entertainment Tonight yesterday about how everything that happened during it was deliberate. “Everything in Justin’s Coachella set was full planned ahead of time,” the insider explained. “There was no improv involved. He’s extremely happy with how everything panned out.”
In February, Hailey spoke on Therapuss about how Jack has started singing his dad’s music. “He’s been saying, ‘Baby, oh baby, oh baby oh.’ And I’m like, ‘Whoa, that is so crazy,’” she said.
She also detailed another thing Jack, who had just started talking, would speak about: basketball.
“He says ‘basketball’ all the time,” she said. “I went to get him up from his nap today, and he was like ‘basketball.’ He’s just—it’s insane. So funny. He also just started saying ‘please.’ He knew how to sign please for a really long time. So if I would say, ‘Hey, say please,’ he would go this [the sign language for please], as please. And now he goes, ‘please,’ oh, it’s so cute. It’s so fun.”
Her son is athletic, she told host Jake Shane during their chat: “He’s walking. He’s running. He’s kicking a soccer ball. He’s throwing the soccer ball. [He’s] into all of it.”
