Despite clashing with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s Thamma, Harshvardhan Rane’s romantic movie Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat succeeded at the box office and has a higher profit margin than Maddock’s horror comedy film.
According to the latest reports, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat has collected Rs 55.15 crore in India against a budget of Rs 25 crore.
Meanwhile, Thamma has made Rs 108 crore in India against a budget of Rs 140 crore.

Harshvardhan Rane begs his fans for Ayushmann Khurrana and Varun Dhawan
Harshvardhan Rane recently reshared a post on his Instagram which mentioned how his latest movie, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, has ended Varun Dhawan and Ayushmann Khurrana’s Thamma’s run at the box office.
He wrote, “Guys, I beg you. I love Varun (Dhawan) and Ayushmann (Khurrana); please don’t do all this, it gets me unnecessary unwanted heat. Anyhow, some officers and agencies are misquoting everything I say and are waiting for any chance to quote me out of context. Please stop, request.”

A majority of users are saying that Harshvardhan is playing a victim card and even ‘overusing’ the outsider image.
