Hasbro Entertainment and Get After It Media (GAIM) launch Hasbro Legends, a new linear broadcast channel dedicated to the company’s portfolio of legacy brands.
“Our focus is on meeting audiences where they are and how they consume content today,” explains Yannick Ferrero, SVP, Content Distribution & Digital at Hasbro Entertainment. “With Hasbro Legends, we’re bringing our brands to broadcast at scale, reaching new audiences and creating opportunities for partners across linear and digital platforms.”
Set to debut across GAIM’s national footprint, the channel will reach more than 70 million U.S. homes at launch, with additional distribution planned across streaming platforms, including GAIM’s forthcoming Heartland+ service.
The network features programming from Hasbro’s library of franchise content, including series based on G.I. Joe, Transformers, Power Rangers, My Little Pony, and Jem and the Holograms.
GAIM oversees distribution and monetization across both over-the-air and free ad-supported streaming television environments, positioning the channel within a broader ecosystem that integrates linear and connected TV.
“This is what happens when my inner kid/fan takes over — and I love it,” shares Otto Padrón, Co-President and COO of GAIM. “We are beyond honored and thrilled to team up with Hasbro. I grew up with G.I. Joe and Rangers, and now we get to bring these legendary brands to broadcast television at scale.”
The launch reflects Hasbro’s ongoing strategy to expand the reach of its IP across platforms while engaging audiences through both traditional broadcast and digital distribution channels.
