Watch the riverfront glow during Lakeshore Balloon Glow
Lakeshore Balloon Glow lights up downtown Manitowoc from 5 to 9 p.m. Aug. 15 (720 Quay St.).
This free, family-friendly celebration features a waterski show, glowing hot air balloons, a dazzling fireworks finale, food trucks, drinks and live entertainment for all ages.
Kids will love the bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, and live magic and reptile shows in the Children’s Area.
The sky comes alive at dusk as balloons glow along the riverfront, followed by fireworks at 8:30 p.m.
All proceeds benefit downtown beautification.

Cruise the coastline on the S.S. Badger
Hop aboard the S.S. Badger from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 16 for the final Shoreline Cruise of the season.
Set sail from the carferry dock (900 S. Lakeview Drive) and enjoy food, live entertainment and unbeatable lake views.
Guests can explore the ship’s museum, movie theater, gift shop and indoor/outdoor lounges while sipping from the cash bar.
Tickets are $60 per person, and kids 4 and younger cruise for free.

See prints like never before at Rahr-West Art Museum
Experience art on a massive scale at the Rahr-West Art Museum’s newest exhibit, “Really Big Prints.”
On display now through Sept. 21 at 610 N. Eighth St., this free exhibit showcases huge relief prints created during the local large-scale printmaking event at the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum.
These impressive works are sure to captivate art lovers of all ages. Don’t miss the closing reception from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 21.
