Powisset Farm in Dover is hosting a series of fall events this month.
The 109-acre property, managed by The Trustees of Reservations, is inviting families and friends to enjoy fall fun at Powisset Farm from noon to 4:30 p.m. on the weekends of Oct. 11-12 and Oct. 18-19, according to a community announcement.
Visitors can enjoy hayrides, a climbing haystack, a seasonal scavenger hunt, a story walk and visits with barnyard animals. Each day will also feature live music from local singers and songwriters. All activities and parking are included in the ticket price.
Powisset Farm is at 37 Powisset St. in Dover.
Farm-fresh food will be available for purchase, including wood-fired pizza, cookies, popcorn and ice cream, according to the announcement. A menu of local craft beer will also be available along with wine, apple cider and non-alcoholic seltzers. Hot apple cider and cider doughnuts can be found in the Powisset Farm Store, which will be filled with baked goods, seasonal produce, pumpkins, apples, specialty foods and fall-focused home goods.
Tickets may be purchased upon arrival or in advance at thetrustees.org/powissetevents, according to the announcement. Pre-registration is highly encouraged but not required. Outside food and drink are not permitted. Dogs are not allowed at Powisset Farm.
There are three timed ticket sessions: noon to 1:30 p.m., 1:30-3 p.m. and 3-4:30 p.m.
