TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle is here — and there’s some feel-good music to welcome everyone to the party!
Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones walked onto their set in Studio 1A on Jan. 12 for their first show together to a new theme song that got the pair moving and smiling.
“Can we hear that song again?” Sheinelle asked after the duo sat down. “Can we crank it up?”

“Let’s hear it,” Jenna said.
The new co-hosts then started dancing to the upbeat ditty, while Sheinelle invited everyone in the studio to dance with them.
“By the way, can we thank our dear friend Blessing Offor who wrote that song just for us?” Jenna said about the new theme. “He’s an amazing friend — and we have a whole story behind it — but the fact that he would give his time for us means so much.”
Before Sheinelle could get into how she was handling her first day on the job, she had to circle back to the theme song. Sheinelle started by sharing that Jenna had sent her a tune by Blessing, called “Brighter Days,” when she was feeling “really low” one day while filling in as a guest co-host on TODAY with Jenna & Friends.
“And the fact that now, who would’ve thunk — (him) singing the theme song with our names in it for this show is nuts! Nuts!” Sheinelle said while energetically tapping her fingers on her desk.

In December, Sheinelle was named co-host of TODAY’s fourth hour after Jenna’s year-long search for a desk mate. Jenna had sat with more than 60 guest co-hosts last year on TODAY with Jenna & Friends.
“You all know her, she’s an extraordinary broadcaster, but more importantly, she exemplifies exactly what this show is all about,” Jenna said on TODAY with Jenna & Friends while introducing Sheinelle.
“To have a show like this is beyond my wildest dreams,” Sheinelle said. “This is the real deal, and I get to do it with Jenna.”
