Despite the return of Nathan, the death of Monica, and the arrival of her long lost sister Veronica, the most shocking moment from the September 29, 2025 episode of General Hospital involved Edward Quartermaine.
Dead Man’s Gun
Anna (Finola Hughes) has certainly had her hands full lately. When she isn’t trying to protect Emma (Braedyn Bruner) from Dalton (Daniel Goddard) or save Joss (Eden McCoy) from the dangers of the WSB, she’s not only welcoming back from the dead her former detective Nathan (Ryan Paevey), but she’s set out to solve the mystery of who shot Drew (Cameron Mathison).
There are several suspects in this cri.e, but they may have just been narrowed down now that the ballistics report from the gun is in. A Quartermaine has always been a likely suspect in the shooting, but no one expected it to be a dead one.
When Anna revealed the ballistics matched Edward (the late John Ingle), she further explained it was the same gun Edward once used to commit a crime. Now that the gun matches a fellow Quartermaine, it’s easy to assume the shooter was someone in the mansion…but who?
While GH will be preempted September 30 and October 1, it’s scheduled to return October 2 when General Hospital spoilers for Thursday tease that Carly (Laura Wright) will be the next to be questioned by the PCPD. Could Anna believe Carly shot Drew, or is she trying to get dirt on a major suspect, like Michael (Rory Gibson)?
Hello, Ronnie
Back at the Q Mansion, the mystery woman in the crypt introduced herself to Tracy (Jane Elliot) as Veronica “Ronnie” Bard (Erika Slezak), Monica’s (the late Leslie Charleson) long lost sister. Tracy remained skeptical of her, but Ronnie assured her all she wanted was to meet her sister’s family.
