HGTV is giving fans even more to look forward to in the new year. After renewing fan favorites and unveiling upcoming series in August, the network has added a slew of TV shows to its slate for 2026, including a new series starring Property Brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott and a whopping near-400 new episodes of the House Hunters franchise.
For the Scott brothers’ latest expansion of their TV empire, the home renovation duo will star in a new, 14-episode series with the working title of Property Brothers: Under Pressure. The show will follow the twins as they help buyers work through their commitment issues related to buying a home. Once the pair has guided clients through everything from competitive real estate markets to wish list compromises to purchasing a house, the pair will then renovate the place to truly make the property into the clients’ dream homes.
To keep fans fully occupied in 2026, HGTV will also release nearly 400 new 30-minute episodes of House Hunters and House Hunters International. Naturally, the fresh installments will follow the cultural phenomenon’s traditional format in which fans can watch potential buyers tour three different homes and determine which one they think would work best for the buyer.
If that’s not enough to look forward to, HGTV fans can also expect a few additional new shows in 2026. One series—with the working title Neighborhood Watch—essentially sounds like America’s Funniest Home Videos if it were solely told through smart doorbells, nanny cams, baby monitors, and security cameras across the United States. Each episode will feature raw footage from these home surveillance sources, showcasing comical and bizarre scenarios involving neighbors, animals, and more.
In terms of television alone, next year is shaping up to be a busy one in the HGTV universe—despite the network’s slew of cancellations earlier this year.
