James Woods and his girlfriend leave a doctor's office

Actor James Woods did not spare Jimmy Kimmel when he slammed the embattled TV host following ABC’s decision to suspend his show indefinitely.

The actor feigned support for Kimmel before taking a dig at him by calling him an “unfunny” money loser who should “eat sh-t.” In another post, he claimed that the comedian’s show was pulled because it “stunk” and had low viewership.

Since his suspension, Jimmy Kimmel has been spotted around several law firm complexes, as reports suggest he’ll look to “fight” the network’s decision and possibly sever ties with them.

Woods took to his X account on Friday and launched a scathing attack on Kimmel following his now-controversial comments on the assassination of late conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

The “Once Upon A Time In America” actor, who has more than 5 million followers on the platform, initially showed support for Kimmel before taking a dig.

“We’ve all made jokes at Jimmy Kimmel’s expense. But Mr. Kimmel is a fellow artist, and I am, in fact, heartbroken to see the way he has been treated. I believe he is, in his heart of hearts, a good and decent fellow, devoid of malice and hate,” Woods wrote on Thursday, before adding, “Just Kidding, Jimbo. Eat Sh-t.”

Woods continued his mockery of Kimmel on Friday when he replied to a celebrity.land article of Stephen Colbert saying, “Tonight We Are All Jimmy Kimmel.”

Reacting to Colbert’s words, Woods wrote: “He’s right. You’re all douchebags.”

He then weighed in on a clip of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz calling Kimmel’s firing “North Korea-style stuff” that “has no place in America.”

“Guys, enough is enough. Kimmel was fired because his show was a massive money loser. He was supposed to be funny, and no one was laughing. It couldn’t be simpler,” Woods wrote alongside the video.

Reports had earlier suggested that Kimmel was yanked off the air because of his controversial comments on Charlie Kirk’s assassination, where he claimed the “MAGA gang” was trying to score political points with his death.

However, some reports claim the comedian’s suspension was due to low ratings that had trailed the show.

Conservative political commentator Benny Johnson wrote that some “local ABC affiliates” had reached out to him to “share just how dead” Kimmel’s show was, claiming that “viewership was non-existent” and “ads wouldn’t sell.”

Woods then replied to the post with his “final word,” claiming that the comedian “wasn’t fired” but was “simply canceled.”

“He was a bitter, ratings-starved comic who wasn’t remotely funny, and his employers were tired of hemorrhaging money supporting a loser,” he said.

Kimmel was yanked from ABC “indefinitely” after he suffered massive backlash when he said the “MAGA gang” was “trying to characterize this kid who killed Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them.”

The comments sparked a strong reaction from FCC chair Brendan Carr, who threatened to take action, saying, “We can do this the easy way or the hard way.”

It is understood that Kimmel wouldn’t just fold his hands, as a source said he’s looking to “fight” for what he believes in.

He was recently spotted driving himself in his Audi S8 to an office complex in Century City, which houses various law offices.

A source recently revealed that Kimmel was furious with ABC for removing his show, noting that this was “the final straw” for him.

“Jimmy is p-ssed over the decision to suspend him and the show, and he isn’t going to take this lightly, as he is actively looking for ways to get out of his contract,” a source told Daily Mail. “This is the last straw, and Jimmy is now looking to forever break his relationship with ABC forever.”

At the time, the insider shared that Colbert was going to feature Kimmel as a guest and that they’re now “looking to do something together to fight for what they believe in.”

The source added that the pair “don’t want Trump to win in any way or fashion at all, and this has lit an extreme fire under Jimmy’s -ss to continue to tell it like it is and be real to himself.”

Former president Barack Obama slammed the Trump administration, saying it has taken “cancel culture” to a “new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.

SAG-AFTRA condemned the show’s suspension, writing in a statement that “suppression of free speech and retaliation for speaking out on significant issues of public concern run counter to the fundamental rights we all rely on.”

Ariana Grande showed support for him by reposting SAG-AFTRA’s statement, while Olivia Rodrigo said she’s “so upset over this blatant censorship and abuse of power. I stand with Jimmy Kimmel, and I stand for freedom of speech.”
