‘House Hunters’ Fans, You Need to Read This New Update from HGTV

HGTV fans have been bracing themselves for changes as the network has canceled some favorite shows. But one legacy program just got a major update. House Hunters and House Hunters International are both coming back in a big way.

The flagship show has been around for more than 25 years, and the network just announced that there will be a whopping 400 new episodes of the show and its spinoff in 2026.

HGTV said, “Attracting over 13 million primetime viewers each month, the series will offer fans their signature fun and interactive viewing experience when they peek inside three different homes, check out the layout and furnishings, evaluate them and pick which one they think will work best for the new homeowner.”

But viewers don’t have to wait for new programming. This fall, HGTV is airing new episodes of My Lottery Dream Home, Hoarding for the Holidays, Fixer to Fabulous, Cheap A$$ Beach Houses, White House Christmas 2025, and My Lottery Dream Home: David’s Happy Ending. Chip and Joanna Gaines also revealed that their new series, Fixer Upper: Mountain House will air on Magnolia Network and HGTV in December.

And there’s plenty more news where that came from. In 2026, fans of the network can expect several all-new shows, including Botched Homes, Neighborhood Watch (working title), World’s Bargain Dream Homes (working title), and Property Brothers: Under Pressure (working title).

This news comes hot on the heels of the August announcement that confirmed the return of perennial favorites like The Flip Off, Renovation Aloha, Love It or List It, and Home Town. Rock the Block is also coming back for a new season.
