Taylor Swift has accomplished wild success in the music industry with multiple hit albums, Grammy awards and sold-out tours. Now fans are grabbing their popcorn and finding seats for the release of her newest film project.
On Oct. 3 through Oct. 5, Swift fans, or “Swifties,” across the country are celebrating “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl“, an 89-minute celebration of her new album release on movie theater screens across the nation, including Cinemark’s Tinseltown in Erie at 1910 Rotundra Drive.
Here’s what fans can expect if they go to any of these showings.

What does ‘The Official Release Party of a Showgirl’ entail?
Along with the premiere of the music video for “The Fate of Ophelia”, the movie will show behind-the-scenes footage from the music video, brand-new lyric videos and personal reflections from Swift on the songs from her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl”.
Fans are encouraged to safely dance and sing during the showing, and theaters will not show any ads or trailers before the screening begins.
The feature length film will start immediately at the scheduled showtime, so make sure to get to your seat on time.
In October of 2023, Tinseltown featured Swift’s “Era’s Tour” film showing a full Swift concert on the big screen.
When will ‘The Official Release Party of a Showgirl’ be in Erie?
Tinseltown will begin the screenings on Oct. 3 starting at 3:30 p.m.
Multiple 89-minute screenings will be held from 3:30 p.m. to the last showing at 11:30 p.m.
Screenings will return Oct. 4 at 9 a.m. and the last showing will be at 11:30 p.m.
The final showings will be on Oct. 5 starting at 9 a.m. and the last showing begins at 10:45 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now for $12 each plus an online fee of $1.89 per ticket. The online fees are waived for Movie Club members.

While Cinemark does not have any official Swift merchandise on its website, official “The Life of a Showgirl” album merchandise can be found on Swift’s website.
The merchandise includes vinyl albums, cassetts, CDs, posters and shirts.
