Kendall Jenner attended last night’s Super Bowl as the face of Fanatics Sportsbook’s Super Bowl ad. While she poked fun at her basketball player exes in the commercial, she had a far sweeter moment supporting another ex during the game. Bad Bunny, whom Jenner dated from 2023 to 2024, was the Super Bowl halftime show performer. While Jenner didn’t post anything on her social media about him, she was filmed dancing during his performance. The model held hands with her friend Hailey Bieber as she swayed in the crowd:
Jenner has made a point to keep her relationships private, including hers with Bad Bunny, so it’s not surprising she didn’t share a public tribute. The model instead kept her social media presence professional, posting only about her Fanatics Sportsbook partnership. She bet on the Patriots and lost:
When she was dating Bad Bunny in 2023, the model spoke to WSJ. magazine about why she wouldn’t comment on her love life. “I try [to] find the balance of keeping things private and keeping things sacred, [and] also not letting the unfortunate frustration and stress of everyone trying to get in on it stop me from enjoying my side,” she said. “Does that make sense? I’ll go out of my way to do things as privately as possible because I just think that that’s the healthier way of dealing with relationships anyway.”
Bad Bunny’s setlist included tracks off his album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS. In a January 2025 Time interview, the Puerto Rican rapper addressed rumors that the project’s titular track was about Jenner. “I have written songs inspired by people that people don’t have a fucking clue who they are,” he said. “The meaning of the song can vary in many things, like the absence of a person who is no longer with you, or a love. But it can be many other things too, that are no longer there.”
Jenner and Bad Bunny dated on-off for over a year, beginning their relationship in early 2023. In September 2024, Us Weekly reported that they were no longer romantically involved after reconciling that summer. A source revealed they were on good terms though, saying, “[They’re] still friendly but have taken a step back and aren’t dating.”
The pair had been “more serious after their short break [earlier that year], but it ultimately didn’t work out long term,” the insider added.
Last month, Jenner confirmed she has been single for a while after being in “a lot” of relationships in her 20s.
“I was in a few long-term, consistent relationships, like kind of nearly—not right after the other, but like near each other,” she told Owen Thiele on his podcast, In Your Dreams. “So I never really had my 20s to myself.”
She decided to take some time in the last year of her 20s: “When I turned 29, I really made a minor commitment to myself, where I was like, I’m not going to reject anything. … I’m going to stay open to anything that feels like it would suit me. But I really wanted to have a me year where I chose myself,” she explained.
“And again, not to say that didn’t mean that people came into my life or didn’t come into my life,” she added. “It wasn’t really about that. It was just about being like, ‘I want to have fun. I want to choose myself, and I want to do what I want to do.’”
