Taylor Swift “doesn’t have an issue” with her longtime friend Zoë Kravitz dating her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.
“Their relationship was so long ago,” the insider notes. “Harry has moved on, and so has Taylor. They’re friendly when they see each other, which isn’t often but does happen occasionally. It’s all in the past now.”
Us Weekly has reached out to reps for Swift, Kravitz and Styles for comment.
Swift, 35, and Styles, 31, famously went public with their romance by strolling through Central Park in New York City in 2012. However, just one month later, they broke up on the heels of a rocky trip to the Caribbean.
“They had a fight,” a source told Us at the time, adding that Styles “said something he shouldn’t have.”
The split is widely believed to have inspired Swift’s aptly titled 2014 single “Style,” which includes the line, “You’ve got that long hair, slicked back, white T-shirt,” as well as One Direction’s 2015 hit “Perfect,” in which Styles notably sang, “If you’re looking for someone to write your breakup songs about / Then, baby, I’m perfect.”
Styles addressed the lyrical back-and-forth in a 2017 Rolling Stone interview, saying, “I write from my experiences; everyone does that. I’m lucky if everything [we went through] helped create those songs. That’s what hits your heart. That’s the stuff that’s hardest to say, and it’s the stuff I talk least about. That’s the part that’s about the two people. I’m never going to tell anybody everything.”
Styles went on to praise Swift’s music as “great,” acknowledging that her songs were “bloody everywhere.”
Eight years after going their separate ways, the exes publicly reunited at the 2021 Grammys. They were also photographed chatting at the same awards show in 2023, signaling that they are more amicable these days.
Swift got engaged to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in August, the same month that Styles and Kravitz, 36, were first spotted together.
A source told Us at the time that both Styles and Kravitz had been “in Europe for work-related things and connected to meet up and hang out.”

“It isn’t serious between them,” the insider explained. “Zoë does not want anything serious right now. They are very similar and are free-spirited people, so they hit it off and have a lot of chemistry.”
Since then, Styles and Zoë have continued to step out together holding hands — and were even seen having lunch with her father, Lenny Kravitz, in September.
Swift and Zoë, meanwhile, have been friends since at least 2016. The Batman actress recently revealed that the pop star even let her and her mother, Lisa Bonet, stay at her house during the Southern California wildfires earlier this year.
In addition to Swift and Zoë, Styles has dated Kendall Jenner, Olivia Wilde and Taylor Russell, among others, while the Big Little Lies alum was married to Karl Glusman from 2019 to 2021 and engaged to Channing Tatum from 2023 to 2024.
